Have you ever thought that boutique hotels could be more than just a place to sleep? At Tótem Madrid, every corner tells a story, and sometimes those stories end up on the big screen. Renowned director Rodrigo Sorogoyen understood this perfectly when he chose our secondfloor as the setting for the final chapter of Los años nuevos, his latest masterpiece.
The mini-series, which portrays a decade in the life of a couple with a look that is as intimate as it is visceral, culminates here, in a 45-minute sequence shot that is pure visual poetry. Sorogoyen, together with Sara Cano and Paula Fabra, decided to shoot in chronological order, letting time and authenticity work their magic. And it was precisely in Tótem where that decade of love, challenges and transformation found its most emotional ending.
For us, being part of such an audacious project is not only a privilege; it is a reflection of who we are. Because, like Madrid, Tótem is a place where creativity and passion find their home. Here, art, culture and emotions intertwine, reminding us that sometimes life, like cinema, is a work of art in itself. And who knows, maybe on your next visit, the stories being written will be your own.
